Reason why

The rooms provide insight into Nuremberg’s heyday as a prosperous Free Imperial City in the 16th century. Dürer’s House takes you into the life and art of this painter, graphic artist, and art theorist celebrated throughout Europe even during his lifetime, featuring a living room, kitchen, and painter’s workshop. From 1509, Albrecht Dürer lived and worked in the mighty half-timbered house in Nuremberg for almost 20 years.
