Reason why
The castle enchants with its medieval-looking exterior facade, while inside, styles transition from Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance to Empire and Neoclassicism, all the way to Art Nouveau. The Faber Castle, also known as Steiner Castle, Faber-Castell Castle, or “Pencil Castle”, served as the residence of the noble Faber-Castell family. Today, the castle is also very popular as a film set; for instance, all ‘Hanni & Nanni’ movies were filmed here.
